Assemble all ingredients to avoid last minute rush.
Preheat Oven to 350° F or 180° C for 10 minutes and line Baking Tray with parchment paper.
Take out butter from fridge, to let come it at room temperature. In case, using salted butter, skip adding salt in the recipe.
Method
Add all-purpose flour, salt, and baking soda in a mixing Bowl. Whisk until they incorporated and keep it aside.
Next, beat the butter with a Hand Mixer in another Bowl until it becomes smooth.
Then, add white sugar, milk, vanilla extract and brown sugar to the smoothened butter. Beat again for 2 minutes or until fluffy.
Now, add all dry ingredients mixed before into the butter Bowl and beat until everything mixed well.
Add chocolate chips into the cookie dough and with the help of a Spatula, fold them into the dough.
If dough seems soft or sticky, keep it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Then, make small balls about 1 inch, flatten them slightly using back of a small bowl and place them on the Baking Tray few inches apart from each other, as they will spread while baking.
Now, bake them for 12-13 minutes in preheated Oven or until edges turn golden brown.
Let them cool on the Tray for 5-6 minutes and then remove them to the cooling rack to cool completely.
