Tandoori Shrimps in Airfryer is a delicious Indian dish made by marinating shrimps in a blend of spices and cooking them in an Airfryer. The shrimps are first marinated in a mixture of yogurt, spices such as cumin, coriander, paprika, turmeric, and garam masala, and then cooked in the Airfryer until they are golden and crispy. This dish is not only healthy, but it is also packed with flavor and has a tangy, spicy taste that is sure to tantalize your taste buds. The juicy, succulent shrimps are a perfect balance to the aromatic spices, making this dish a true taste sensation.
Assemble all ingredients to avoid last minute rush.
Devein and clean all Prawns.
Wash and finely chop fresh coriander leaves, ginger and garlic cloves.
Melt butter or keep out of fridge while you are preparing for the recipe.
Cooking
Add yogurt, chopped ginger, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice to a Mixing Bowl and mix well.
Let prawns marinade for 2 hours or at least 45 minutes.
Once prawns are marinaded, skewer the prawns and brush them with melted butter.
Place them in Airfryer at 180°C for 12 - 15 minutes. Check once at 6-7 minutes and brush prawns again at that time.
If you are cooking prawns over gas stove, then after Step 3 place them in Grill Pan over the gas stove and cover them with a lid. Check in between every 4-5 minutes and brush melted butter.
Once they are cooked properly, transfer them to Serving Tray and brush melted butter once again.
Sprinkle chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves.
Serve hot with your choice of chutney and fresh onion rings.
Ginger & Garlic: If you don’t have fresh ginger and garlic or are in hurry, can also use readymade ginger- garlic paste.
Butter: You can use any butter or can also opt for olive oil. Just don’t brush olive oil after cooking.
Chaat Masala: You can sprinkle lemon juice in place of chaat masala.
Spices: You can always adjust spices and salt as per your taste.
