Chicken Patties are a popular snack food that originated in the Caribbean. They are made of a mixture of seasoned chicken that is then wrapped in a flaky pastry and deep-fried until crispy and golden brown. They are usually served as a snack or a light meal and can be enjoyed hot or cold. The chicken filling is a mixture of finely chopped chicken, spices, herbs, and seasonings, creating a flavorful and juicy center, surrounded by a crisp and flaky crust.
Assemble all ingredients to avoid last minute rush.
Wash & finely chop green chillies, onions and parsley, garlic and ginger.
Cooking
To make Chicken Patties Recipe, in a chopper mince boneless chicken breasts and transfer it to a Mixing Bowl.
Then, add chopped onion, green chillies, ginger, parsley, garlic, seasoning, chilli powder, mayonnaise, egg, oil, salt and pepper.
Mix all ingredients with minced chicken until everything combines well and rest the mixture for 2 hours.
After resting, shape the mixture in a form of a patty and roll it in bread crumbs. Let bread crumbs stick properly to Chicken Patties.
Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a Frying Pan and place Chicken Patties on it. Repeat the same and make Patties with rest of the mixture. Keep the flame from low to medium.
Cook Patties from one side, it will take approx. 2-3 minutes. Then, flip the patties and let them cook from another side for about 2-3 minutes again.
Patties will start forming a thin crust on the layers.
