Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup sesame seeds til
  • 1/2 cup jaggery / gur
  • 1/4 cup ghee / clarified butter
  • 2 tbsp almond / badam
  • 1 tsp cardamom powder

Instructions
 

Pre-Cooking prep steps

  • In a pan, roast the sesame seeds on medium heat until golden brown and fragrant.
  • In another pan, heat the jaggery on low heat until it melts and becomes a thick syrup.
  • Crush the cardamom seeds and keep it aside.

Cooking

  • In a pan, heat the ghee and add the roasted sesame seeds and jaggery syrup.
  • Mix well and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Turn off the heat and add the chopped almonds and cashews, and cardamom powder.
  • Mix well and let it cool for a few minutes.
  • Once cooled, take small portions of the mixture and shape them into ladoos.
