Ingredients
- ¼ cup greek yogurt
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- ¼ tsp turmeric powder
- ½ tsp Garam Masala
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 12 shrimp / prawns deveined and cleaned
- 2 tbsp butter, salted
- ½ tsp chaat masala
- ¼ cup coriander leaves / cilantro
Instructions
Preparation
- Assemble all ingredients to avoid last minute rush.
- Devein and clean all Prawns.
- Wash and finely chop fresh coriander leaves, ginger and garlic cloves.
- Melt butter or keep out of fridge while you are preparing for the recipe.
Cooking
- Add yogurt, chopped ginger, garlic, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice to a Mixing Bowl and mix well.
- Let prawns marinade for 2 hours or at least 45 minutes.
- Once prawns are marinaded, skewer the prawns and brush them with melted butter.
- Place them in Airfryer at 180°C for 12 - 15 minutes. Check once at 6-7 minutes and brush prawns again at that time.
- If you are cooking prawns over gas stove, then after Step 3 place them in Grill Pan over the gas stove and cover them with a lid. Check in between every 4-5 minutes and brush melted butter.
- Once they are cooked properly, transfer them to Serving Tray and brush melted butter once again.
- Sprinkle chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves.
- Serve hot with your choice of chutney and fresh onion rings.
