What is Kadai Chicken
Kadai Chicken is a classic Indian dish that consists of boneless or bone-in chicken pieces cooked in a rich and flavorful gravy. The dish gets its name from the cooking vessel known as the “kadai,” which is a deep, circular pan with high sides, commonly used in Indian cooking. The kadai chicken recipe typically starts with a marinade of yogurt and spices, followed by pan-frying the chicken until golden brown. The gravy is made with a combination of tomatoes, onion, ginger, garlic, and a host of freshly ground spices that are simmered together until thick and luscious. The chicken is then simmered in the gravy until cooked through, resulting in a dish that is bursting with flavor and aroma.
