Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Whole wheat Flour
  • 1 cup bananas
  • 1 cup oats
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • cup cocoa powder
  • cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp flaxseed powder
  • 2 tbsp oil

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
  • Grind oats into a fine powder. Same with flaxseeds, in case you do not have powder.
  • Mash bananas. Choose over ripe bananas here.

Cooking

  • Pre-heat Oven to 375° F or 190° C for10 minutes and prepare the Muffin Tray by with muffin liners and lightly butter it.
  • Sieve whole wheat flour, brown sugar, ground oats, cocoa powder, cinnamon powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a Mixing Bowl.
  • Using a Spatula, mix well until everything incorporated well.
  • Now, add milk, flax seeds powder, mashed bananas, honey, vanilla extract and oil in another Mixing Bowl and also chocolate chips. Mix them well with a Hand Mixer or a Whisk.
  • Now add flour mixture in to it and mix well with cut and fold technique.
  • Now fill your muffin moulds with the batter.
  • Bake into pre-heated Oven for 20-25 minutes. Check by inserting a toothpick or wooden stick in the center, if it comes out clean, Muffins are ready.
  • Remove it from the Oven and let it cool in the Muffins Tray for 5 minutes.
  • Your Chocolate Banana Muffins are ready to serve!
