In the kitty, I am adding 5 Diwali Sweets which you can prepare easily at home with one base mixture prepared with milk powder. This trick saves your much time and effort, and in no time, you are loaded with 5 different varieties of sweets.

So, let’s start making first thing first, base mixture by milk powder!

To make Milk Powder Mixture for 5 Sweets

Total Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 6 cups milk powder
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tbsps clarified butter / ghee

Instructions

  1. To start preparing Milk Powder Mixture, take a Kadai and heat ghee into it on low flame.
  2. Now, add milk and 2 cups milk powder into it and stir completely to avoid any lumps. Add milk powder into batches so that no lumps will be formed.
  3. Now, add sugar into it and mix well.
  4. Cook the mixture until it starts combining together. Do not overcook the mixture otherwise it will turn sticky and becomes rubber like texture.
  5. Your base mixture to prepare Sweets/ Mithais is ready.
