Ingredients
- 1 cup milk powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp ghee / clarified butter for making milk powder mixture
- dry fruits of your choice
- ¼ cup cocoa powder
Instructions
Preparations
- Assemble all ingredients to avoid last minute rush.
- Chop all dry fruits
- Sieve cocoa powder.
Cooking
- Take a Kadai and heat ghee into it on low flame.
- Now, add milk and milk powder into it and stir completely to avoid any lumps. Add milk powder into batches so that no lumps will be formed.
- Now, add sugar into it and mix well.
- Cook the mixture until it starts combining together. Do not overcook the mixture otherwise it will turn sticky and becomes rubber like texture.
- Now, take a Mixing Bowl and add prepared milk powder mixture into it.
- Now, add cocoa powder into it and mix well.
- Then, take a tbsp of mixture and prepare a round crack free ball.
- Shape it into a Peda and press from your thumb a little in the middle.
- Place chopped dry fruit (almond / pistachio / cashew) on it.
- Prepare rest pedas in the same way.
- Hurray! Your Chocolate Milk Powder Peda is ready.
