Ingredients
For Wet Ingredients
- 3 tbsp oil
- ⅓ cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- ½ cup water
- 1 tsp lemon juice
For Dry Ingredients
- ½ cup all purpose flour / maida
- Salt
- 100 gm dark sweet chocolate
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
For Dusting Mug
- 2 tbsp all purpose flour / maida
- 1 tsp butter, salted
Instructions
Preparation
- Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
- Add all wet ingredients in a big Mixing Bowl. Mix everything very well using a Whisk. Keep aside.
- In another Mixing Bowl, add all dry ingredients except dark chocolate and mix everything very well using a Spatula. Keep aside.
- Take your favorite Coffee Mug or any Mould of your choice and apply butter in it.
- Keep it in freezer to set the butter. Remove it and dust some all -purpose flour properly in the Mould and again keep it in freezer.
Method
- For making Chocolate Lava Cake, add dry ingredients to wet ingredients Mixing Bowl and combine everything properly. Do not overdo the mixing.
- Once it's mixed properly, remove the Mould from the freezer and add 2-3 tbsp of prepared batter in it. Now, add a small cube of dark chocolate and again add 2 tbsp of prepared batter.
- Keep the filled Mould in the freezer for a minute. Then, place it in a hot steamer and steam for 5-6 minutes.
- Gently remove the cake from the Mould.
- Your Chocolate Lava Cake is ready to serve!
For Choco Lava Mug Cake
- Take a microwave safe Mug and add firstly dark chocolate chunks in the Mug.
- Then, pour the prepared batter on it, but do not overfill it.
- Place it in the Microwave on full power for approx 90 sec to 2 minutes.
