- 2 garlic
- 1 inch ginger
- 2 green chillies
- ½ spring onion
- 1 Onions
- 1 Chicken Breast / boneless chicken
- ½ Carrot
- 4 beans
- ¼ cabbage
- 5 mushroom
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 ½ tbsp vinegar
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 3 tbsp cornflour
- 1 tsp salt
- noodles
- ½ coriander leaves / cilantro
Instructions
Preparations
- Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
- Wash all vegetables in running water.
- Finely chop all vegetables.
- You can use red or white onions, if you don’t have spring onions.
- Wash &chop chicken breast piece also
Cooking
- To start making this Chicken Manchow Soup, heat oil and add ginger, garlic, white part of spring onions and onions. Saute for 2-3 minutes and add the chicken breast.
- Chicken breast will cook fairly quickly. Saute it for a minute or so on high heat and add carrots, green beans, mushroom and cabbage along with salt and 3 cups water. Bring this to a quick boil and then reduce the flame to a simmer.
