Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp urad dal
  • 2 tsp oil
  • 2 to Tomato
  • 2 tsp mustard seeds / rai
  • 2 dried red chilli
  • 1 cup peanuts
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 5 curry leaves

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Assemble all ingredients together to avoid last minute rush.
  • Wash urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Peel and wash garlic cloves.
  • Wash and roughly chop tomatoes.

Cooking

  • Heat oil in a Pan or Kadai and saute chopped tomatoes till they are soft and pulpy.
  • Transfer it to a Bowl and heat oil in the same pan.
  • Now, fry peanuts (without skin), garlic and dried red chillies for 2 minutes. Take it off the flame and let them cool down.
  • Then add all ingredients to a Blender and also add salt.
  • Grind everything to a smooth paste.
  • Now, heat oil in a Tadka Pan, and mustard seeds, urad dal and curry leaves.
  • Once they crackle, pour this over the Paste.
  • Your yummy Andhra Style Peanut & Tomato Chutney.
